Bridge To Basics utilizes volunteers at Hopelink to connect you with other services you might need. These other services are Basic Food (food stamps), childcare, health care, utility assistance, and job training.
We talk to hundreds of people at the Bellevue, Shoreline, and Kirkland/Northshore food banks every month. We would like to talk with you during one of our visits. Bridge to Basics operates on a quarterly schedule. We will start the Bridge to Basics program again in mid-May 2010.
More information at the United Way of King County website.
Bridge to Basics volunteers will check to see if you are qualified. We can help you fill out applications for help. Other useful information includes low-cost clinics, WIC locations, and telephone assistance.
